A Day in the Queue

I have devoted most of today to one thing: registering the new (old) car. At Transport Control Department (aka TCD), pictured on the right. The procedure is:
1) Take a ticket
2) Wait
3) Keep Waiting
4) Watch the queue build
5) Fidget nervously
6) Wait some more
7) Skip a bathroom break for fear of missing your spot
Register the car
A relatively painless process, I am sure you will agree. At least the place has A/C…
