It’s a Style Thing…
16Aug2005After purchasing a Vespa the other day, I suddenly wondered why the Italians seem to care about form and function, whereas others (our teutonic brethren, for example) only tend to focus on function. Take these airport trollies in Rome, for example – normally such carriages are drab, boring, functional things, but not in Rome. There seems to be some unwritten rule about such matters and how the Italians dominate – look at Ferrari, Maserati, Piaggio, De Longhi to name but a few.
