So much for sailing. The hurricane/tropical storm seemed to suck all the wind away with it, so the Race Committee cancelled – but only after we were halfway out to the racecourse. That meant that the weekend was spent shopping for household things rather than on the water – guess what I would have preferred…Anyway, as part of our re-acquaintance with Bermuda’s restaurants we spent Saturday night at Mickeys on Elbow Beach. A fantastic venue with a beautiful beach – and the walk along that soft, fine sand in the half-moonlight was also breathtaking (note that I am not mentioning the food).
