Reflecting on a New Office
13Sep2005I have started work at last, which means I am spending my daytimes in a new office. The office building I am currently (temporarily) located in is designed with reflections in mind. There are mirrored surfaces everywhere, which makes for great ambient light – the outside, lobby and various floors all reflect a bright new world. I hope to grab a couple of snaps over the next few weeks which illustrate this point. The big issue about being in an office environment again is the increased coffee intake – it is much harder to regulate when you are spending most of your day in front of a computer. Caffeine is really just a designer drug which has been processed, packaged up and delivered in doses just large enough to stimulate, but not large enough to satisfy (unless you happen to order a triple cappucino from Rock Island – that always kicks like a mule).
