Baseball Blues

After spending a busy week working in DC, I am able to spend the weekend relaxing. Friday night was spent at the District Chophouse – a great place with fantastic steaks and a good selection of home-brewed beer. The Bourbon Stout is a particular favourite. Then on Saturday I was able to have several games of squash with a bunch of great guys (Bruce, Oaks and Rob) at the Potomac Squash Club – and they have Warsteiner in the soda machine for 50 cents. Then it was off to a tailgate party at the Robert F Kennedy Stadium before watching the Washington Nationals play the Phillies. A slice of true Americana. We finished the evening off in Adams Morgan district – a jumping place. I can guarantee a sore head in the morning…
