So tropical depression Vince failed to cause a stir here, but the weather still managed to serve up some great layered cloud shots. It turns out that there is only one name left for the Atlantic storm season this year – Wilma. Looking at some of those names for the next couple of years, you can already sense which ones could be big blowers – Hurricane Gabrielle (2007 – surely not a nod to that sexy siren on Desperate Housewives?) will no doubt kick some of the proverbials, but Hurricane Debby sound like a damp squib – even the spelling is poor. If any additional storms come along this year they do not start making more names up – but rather opt for names from the Greek alphabet – Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta etc.
