Sleep Monster

With the colder weather setting in, we have had to start using a quilt on the bed to keep warm. This is great, because it is nice and toasty, but bad because Hamish just loves to cuddle up – and cuddle up really close. I woke up last night to find him curled up right next to my face, which was a bit disconcerting, especially as I had just been dreaming about licking big fluffy ice creams. The other bad thing is that his ability to sleep continuously is contagious – so much so that I am not hearing my alarm clock in the morning.
