Looking Ahead

2005 was a turbulent year for us. We quit our jobs, left Hamish in a cattery and travelled for a number of months, and then we moved back to Bermuda. We realised that before arriving back in Bermuda, we had managed to visit 9 beaches in 2005. They included beaches at Sealbourne and Tofino on Vancouver Island, Golden Bay in Malta, Archirondel on Jersey, Toronto Beaches District, La Matta in Spain and Brighton Beach in East Sussex. So upon reflection, it can’t have been such a bad year, especially considering that we are not beach people.
2006 certainly holds a lot of interesting challenges. On a personal front, I have 3 major projects coming up in the next 4 months outside of work – I will elaborate more on those soon. We also plan to visit some new places this year, and catch up with old friends. It should be interesting.
