Technology is becoming all-pervasive. Today it was reported that many Al-Qaeda documents were found on a USB drive in the debris after the al-Zarqawi missile attack. That’s the problem with those removable pen-drives, flash-drives and portable hard-disks – it is difficult to secure them, and even easier to lose them.

I keep a lot of information on a portable hard disk – photos, documents, even my login credentials for many online sites, so losing it would be a disaster. Which means keeping a backup of my backup drive.

Another technology-related point – Hummer now make laptops – does this mean they run out of juice before anything else?

  1. I’m curious to see if Hummer can pull off the manufacturing of a laptop small enough to fit on a table top in a city coffee shop. Since they can’t seem to wrap their minds around building a vehicle that fits in a single parking space.
Maybe we should grant Hummer owners the right to use the slightly larger handicapped spots since I truly believe they might all be handicapped in some way, mentally or anatomically
Oops, did I say that out loud?

  2. allykay – yes, you said it out loud. And it made me laugh…
