Allow me to set the scene: you live on a tropical island, the sun is shining, and the weather is warm. Where is the last place you would wish to be on the weekend? The Office.

But that’s where I have spent most of the time this weekend. That’s one of the downsides of working in information technology, I guess. But at least when disks are whirring and hourglasses are spinning I get the chance to wander with my camera. Even the office has some interesting photo opportunities.

Still, I was able to catch up on a lot of work, and also find out some interesting news, namely:

  1. The Who are touring again
  2. I found a publication I was not aware of before, but it’s definitely right up my street. And don’t worry – it’s clean

How was your weekend?

  1. omigod, thank you thank you thank you for pointing me in the direction of The Chap. In my more ho hum moments, i’ve been known to mutter, ‘men, men everywhere and not a drop to drink…’ but ah, here’s The Chap! heaven!
my weekend was spent working as the latest in a line of maitre’d(s) in my restaurant. well, it’s not really mine. that’s it really. nothing too exciting. like the photo you took of the office. hope your next weekend is spent outside of it. take care.

  2. As i am partying away the whole weekend, good to know some people are contributing to the world economy.

    the photo looks great!

  3. My weekend was not much better than yours. Except that I was stuck in my house with nothing to do. It’s very warm over here in San Francisco.

  4. I just came back from Jamaica. I don’t know how anyone could concentrate on work while at tropical island. All I could think about was my next rum drink.

  5. jromer – The Chap is a veritable classic – glad you also enjoy it…

ana – partying the whole weekend – that just makes me feel worse

locke – I am in San Fran this week – and it is hot…

nonblond – I am always thinking about my next rum drink
