Every Week in Nepal…
22Dec20061200 children under the age of five die. That’s a horrifying statistic.
In a break from tradition, I am not posting one of my pictures today. Instead I am posting a short video clip associated with something close to my heart – the Kathmandu Kids Club. The kids in the video are a few of the 130+ children now in the care of the Kathmandu Kids Club and ISIS in Nepal. The Kathmandu Kids Club is a fundraising club, launched to help raise funds for the ISIS Foundation’s projects in Nepal – a country ravaged by poverty and war. The Kathmandu Kids Club is run by a dedicated team of volunteers, one of whom is me – I built their website. We take pride in eliminating local administrative costs i.e. we work for free, which means that 100% of the funds received through membership fees and donations arrive in Kathmandu for The ISIS Foundation projects. The result is a real and positive impact on the children and the people caring for them.
This holiday season, why not give something worthwhile – the gift of life. Visit the Kathmandu Kids Club website for more information. Have a great festive season, and thanks for reading my blog this year.

Thats a great suggestion… I think I will find out more!
