Magic Kingdom

17Apr2007

Over Easter I spent time in Orlando visiting the theme parks – without kids (well, any of my own), I may hasten to add. It’s a completely manufactured place, but none the worse for that. As long as you suspend disbelief for a while everything is great (just like Bermuda).

There were some interesting sights whilst in Orlando:

- a shop called The World of Denim which promised “more than just denim”. Surely if you go to the World of Denim you actually want denim and nothing more…

- a massive billboard sign on the way back to the airport which proclaimed “Vasectomy.com – it’s easier than you think“. After a weekend surrounded by millions of screaming kids, you would think that may be tempting to many….

  1. Surely Tom you know Denim can be bad, untrue, downright dangerous. “Just” denim is what they make working clothes out of, unjust denim is for fashion items.
