OK, so I have to admit that I finally set myself up with a Facebook profile last week. (Note – you need to have an account to see the Facebook links).
The funny thing is that as I was browsing the groups I noticed one called Imma go up Ice Queen and get me some greaze. Just the title made me laugh out loud. Then I saw that Ewart Brown – yes – the Premier of Bermuda – had a Facebook profile. My initial reaction – must be a hoax. But I added him as a friend anyway, and he reciprocated. I didn’t know what was more amusing – me being friends with the Premier of Bermuda, or him liking to eat at the Ice Queen.
Anyway, yesterday it was all confirmed in the Royal Gazette. Mr Premier believes “it is a great way to keep in touch with young people“.
